I've tried most of the restaurants but 1900 park fare is one I've never been to for some strange reason!

    What's it like?

is it always a buffet or is that just breakfast?

It's buffet at dinner too. We like it there. It's our last night dinner spot. The buffet is more eclectic than other buffets - they have food based on other country's cuisines. Loads and loads of different salads, a carving station, a cook to order pasta bar and several different hot dishes.

And dinner is with Cinderella, Prince Charming and the ugly sisters (who are hysterical).

ooo that does sound good thanks Dawn!

We're not huge fans of some of the food at some of the buffets, but it sounds like 1900 may be a bit different

1900 Park Fare is our favourite Disney restaurant for buffets and I'm not a big fan of buffets.

There is a huge selection as Dawn said and when the ugly sisters come round to the tables they are just brilliant, you will have lots of fun with them if you play along :D I set Chris up big time and I had tears rolling down my face because it was so good

The room is really nice as well and it's not too noisy, it is a restaurant for children though and there will be lots there, but it's all part of the experience, I love watching their faces when they see Cinderella. I think you would enjoy it

Just a warning though. After you've checked in they insist you have your photo taken in front of the nice mural. Apparently you have to be VERY insistent if you don't want this done.

Thanks Dawn, I like to be pre-warned about that! I've got the hang of saying no at luau/hoop dee doo but every now and again I get caught out and they can get every insistent. (at kennedy space centre a few years ago they insisted on everyone having a photo before going on the tour and wouldnt let you on the coach if you didnt! despite having paid etc.)

This time we'll have photopass+ though so perhaps it'll be worth the pose

Different characters. I think it's Alice in Wonderland who hosts breakfast.

It is our favourite WDW buffet and boy have we tried almost all of them. We always go for breakfast and love the food. We much prefer it to CP and the characters suit my lot much more. There are of course the sticky pecan buns and the lovely strawberry soup as well as all the usual Disney offerings. 1900 never seems as manic as the others either.
Don't let them seat you away from the main dining room though. We are prepared to wait a little longer to get seated rather than be hidden away from the action.

We are going for the first time in November! I'm sure we will have loads of pictures

We are doing dinner, not breakfast. Breakfast is : Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter and friends.

Dinner looks like such fun. I have watched a few online videos and the step sisters are such a hoot. My youngest two (the ones that go with me) love the Mad Hatter and Alice and they are well....just a little nutty! The fact that Pooh and Tigger make an appearance helps too.

    Same here.
We too have never had dinner there but we went for breakfast a couple of years ago thanks to reservations made by one of our CM friends as a surprise.
We enjoyed the breakfast but as others have said, it did seem as though you had to have the obligatory photograph taken before entering the restaurant.
It was also a tad hectic and noisy in there, but at least we can now say that we have "done" it.

Guess I am way too old school. The first couple of times we ate there it wasn't a buffet. DW and I loved going there then. Loads of fun, great service, and the food was really good.
