I have never ever been on this ride, partly because the lines were always too long.

What am I missing out on and is it fun or do I need to wait until I have child with me to show me the ropes?

Fast Pass it and get on there and outscore Chris. It's a shoot at targets as you go around on a track ride and your car records your score. Highest score gets gloating rights for the rest of the day.

What she said ;-) although in our family, winner also gets to choose the next ride :) (which always happens to be the TTA no matter who wins ;-) )

We ride the TTA continually while we wait for our Buzz fastpass window to open.

We love both of them too....we have started a new picture op there. Some of the more slender of our group slide in between the bars and pose with Emporer Zurg.

We ALWAYS ride the TTA...it is part of our family's traditions.

TTA - Tomorrowland Transit Authority :) AKA "The People Mover" ;-)

Yes, it's become quite the joke in our little foursome ;-) the winner always makes a big show of "choosing it" in new and creative ways. Gotta love "old school" Disney ;-)

Oh and a small FYI about Buzz..you do have some control over the "spin" part of the ride. Yes, there are parts where it turns you one way or the other, but you do not have to spend the whole ride going in circles..well unless you want to! My Mom was concerned, but I told her as long as she didn't ride with one of the kids, she would be fine :nono:

You wouldn't like spinning the whole time if you were sitting with my Mother

I also love the People Mover. It's a must and usually a must several times! I also enjoy riding it at night. Or when I need a break, or when it's raining. Or when I need to think/talk about plans. Or when I just feel like it. :D

Buzz is so much fun! It really is all about the gloating. Then the subsequent desire for revenge.

True enough Becca, are you old enough to remember it as the WEDway? That is what we call it! "Now approaching Metroplis Science Center!"

Ohhh.... the WEDway People Mover! Love it! Also, got to ride on the inspiration for it. The 1964 World's Fair Ford exhibit! That's where Disney discovered the technology and the concept that lead to the People Mover. Or so I've heard.

Tom :)macwave:... linear induction motors for all!)

Twin brothers from different mothers! I was there too...thought I recognized you!!

Loved that ride...cool Mustangs! So many great attractions there that when I returned to my regular life in Northeastern PA, I was in a total funk....I was so depressed that I couldn't live inside those rides. I was 7 years old and the fair had a profound effect on me.

BTW...my DD Alex has the same "depression" gene I think. She lamented that real life was so dissapointing after seeing Spy Kids....hehe
