Our annual passes run out at the end of Nov 2014, so it makes sense to get an earlier date in next year. Thinking about end of Oct -> mid nov.

I have a FEELING I could perhaps get some food and wine festival, the halloween party AND the christmas party in, if the dates are right!

What's the weather like though :/ and the crowds?

We have done that very thing Keith. Normally it is great weather wise. Stay away from F&W on the weekends though. Biggest draw back for me though was I really didn't feel the Christmas spirit that early.

F&W is heavily attended on every weekend during the festival. The Halloween events are equally heavily attended, so I'd choose one that seemed like it would be the least popular.

Early is as early does, eh? Disney used to keep Christmas at bay until after Thanksgiving, but that is no longer the case, so you really could do all three if you get the planning down right.

Weather is most often very good. You may find it a touch too warm, but Mrs. Keith will LOVE it. :D

I'll reiterate what I keep saying: there is no slow time at WDW any longer. MK is always crowded as is WS during F&WF. For F&WF I would get there as soon as it opens at 11am and head out by 4pm.

I've not been at the end of Oct/early Nov but would like to hit all 3 events like you.

yep I completely agree, no slow times.... first two weeks in december used to be my disney slow time, no longer.

f&wf we're not too bothered, we'll just grab the odd glass of bubbly as we wander round :) I REALLY love the halloween party on the 31st oct though and though the tickets sell quickly, and it's packed, I'll really try hard to be there on that night for the atmosphere.

Then if we can do the christmas show, albeit early, I think we'll have done well

We go end oct/early Nov and have been in the half term as my mum works in a school. Queue times were worse when I went in May out of school holiday time.
Weather has always been great for us this time of year

My favourite time to go is the last week in Oct/ first week Nov. The weather is just right. We go to the Halloween party on the 31st. Fab.
It can be busy, but you just have to allow for that. :)

Lovely time to go, IMO (crowds notwithstanding, as there are ALWAYS crowds these days). The weather is usually fairly mild, minus the odd shower now and then.

Keith is absolutely right about no more slow times during the Christmas season. We normally avoid MVMCP on the weekends because of the crowds but we went on a Tuesday night 3 December and it was SOLD OUT and we couldn't hardly move. Couldn't get near close enough to see the parade and our view of the fireworks was extremely limited.
