It's finally paid out, made a few mistakes on the online forms but still got a cheque today for £100 , so worthwhile doing after all

yeah I messed up at least 1 flight as it was so long ago but it only took me 20 minutes and 100 quid is nothing to sniff at , I was expecting a cheque for about £4 after all that

I did this a little while ago, we had a cheque come through and it was literally for a couple of quid - so not overly impressed. However, a long time later and another cheque drops through the door for quite a bit more - was well impressed with that one!

If you had a transatlantic flight with Virgin and , er someone else in the early 2000's ( can't remember the dates sorry) you were wrongly overcharged for fuel supplements and are due a refund - you should have been contacted if you were eligable, we have many times

Thanks Chris. We last flew with Virgin in 2003. After that it was with American in 2008. Shame we weren't contacted. I could do with a little bonus right now.

If you bought flight tickets with Virgin or BA between 11th August 2004 and 23rd march 2006 you may be entitled to partial refund of fuel surcharge.

    You can go to www.airpassengerrefund.co.uk
