What would you like to see return to WDW?

It could be an attraction / show / parade....what would you like to make a come back?

I miss the masquerade show Italy! I would have loved to attend a masquerade and this was as close as I have ever been.

As we were in the Wonders of Life pavillion tasting yucky Argentinian wine, I really miss everything in that pavillion.

Four For a Dollar, what was that?

The statues in Italy, was that the people who danced with the masks? If so, I thought they were still doing that.

No it's not crazy. I don't know how many times I've been to WDW, and I've never seen it either.

I also miss Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
And the old version of Snow White.

I never saw Captain EO either.

I tell everyone who asks me why I go to Disney so often that I see something new EVERYTIME I go.

What about the parade in Epcot. I can't remember it's name but thought it was absolutely fantastic.

Actually, "Four for a Dollar" was only their "Disney" name. To the rest of the world, they're known as "Return 2 Zero". Their website is here:

Oh I loved Tapestry of Nations & the dream catcher..is that what he was called? You were supposed to write down your dream or wish or something like that & as he came through in the parade you dropped it in his bag. So cute for the kids. Was just an awesome parade really & this is coming from someone who is not a parade or show gal. I miss it & am not sure why they haven't added another.

Also, did not realize there was an 'original' version of Snow White. Interesting.

Love Mr. Toads. It was a toss to me whether to vote for Horizons or Mr. Toads.

Any of the original Epcot Worlds: -

    Horizons
    World of Motion
    Captain EO
Spaceship Earth (Yes i know it is still there but not as good as when it was first opened)

Epcot doesn't seem to be as Cutting Edge as it used to be. a 30 year old park that hasn't really been updated in ages and is getting very dated. However, we always go there when we go to Florida and always will :worship:

That was Tapestry of Dreams, Cristine. It came after Tapestry of Nations. Much the same but with more focus on the dreams than on the nations.

I really loved that parade. I preferred the original with the Sage of Time. It was called the Great Millenium Walk when it first came out. Then, when they took out the Sage, it went to Tapestry of Nations, then was reworked to Tapestry of Dreams.

I heard, but don't know how true it is, that it was ended because the "costumes" were murder on the CMs backs and WDW was racking up major workman's comp claims. :sigh:

If you remember, you'd see a manager type, just before the parade, going around the WS with a little wind speed o mometer (whatever it's properly called). If the wind speed was too high, they'd cancel the parade. :sigh:

It was lovely though. Keep in mind that I'm not a traditional parade sort of person. :D

Have to agree about EPCOT not being quite as cutting edge. I remember things like the solar lawn mower, and the like. It seemed like there was always some wicked cool thing. The last seriously cool thing was the Segway, I guess.

I'd like to see EPCOT be a real showcase for new, better, faster technology driven "things." Even dreamt up things, from the Imagineers. That would be cool. It could be a real haven for inventors!

I'd like to see the World Showcase be refurbished and focus more on the culture of each country instead of the Americanized versions of the cultures. :sigh: Particularly the food items.
