What a big loss to the art world, Thomas Kinkade, known as the “Painter of Lightâ€￾, passed away at his home in California from natural causes at the young age of 54 on Friday.

Kinkade was a well known and highly popular artist who’s works included a rendition of the Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary version of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

I hav always wanted one of his paintings, my personal favourites are Cinderella, Peter Pan and Beauty and the Beast.

Such talent to pass away at so young an age. I actually thought he was much older.
