This past trip we werent able to get an ADR for BOG, however, I got an email from Disney 1 day before leaving for our trip, asking if I wanted a fp+ for BOG lunch with a link.

So, apparently, if you are staying at a Disney resort, you can book a FP+ for lunch a few days beforehand.
The link asked for my last name and resort confirmation number. It then took me to a different page where I could choose different dates and times, and finally gave me the option of choosing our food beforehand, in which case you check in and go straight to a table, or just prebooking fp+ which was what we did.

How it works, you walk up to the podium and say you have an fp+, after confirming it, they direct you to a CM at the castle gates, so you skip everyone who is in line on the bridge, and go straight inside to the first available screen.

I loved this! Lunch felt far less rushed than dinner, and we were able to sit wherever we chose. The girls first toured the castle before deciding they wanted to be near where snow is falling :) The food choices were good, although limited, less expensive than dinner, and the only thing missing is the option of getting your picture taken with The Beast at the end of your meal :)

Thanks for that Mari. I couldn't get dinner reservations for October so thought I'd miss out in the experience but lunch sounds just as good :)

There's something weird going on with reservations for dinner IMHO. I couldn't get any for oct/nov and there's another room open in there now + the main hall is huge. I was starting at the furthest out day as well.

I dont know if it's just people booking tons and then cancelling the ones they have 24hrs before, or if there's something weirder going on

We prefer dinner, too. But lunch isn't bad and if that's your only chance to get inside and see it, I would certainly recommend it. :)
