travel insurance

    DH seems to think that regular travel insurance would cover us if he was made redundant from his job. I think it wouldn't.
    Who's right?

    Check your policy Diane. My DH would have been covered as he had worked for the same company for the last 12 months. Each are different but it might be true.

    This is spot on. SOME policies do have that cover as a standard benefit, other's don't. It's completely down to what the policy small print says

    ok, thanks guys.
    I'm getting moaned at off DH as he wanted me to book our flights last month (when they were £600 cheaper for the two of us) and I was too worried about the job situation to do anything. Looks like I should have just booked them!
