I've never stayed there, sorry. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn but we had to drive to the Park every day we went. It was a lovely hotel and I would stay there again.

I've had a look round for you though and most people seem to love the location but the opinions are divided about the accommodation itself, some saying it's old and tired others saying that it was fine.

I guess it depends on what you re looking for, if you just want somewhere to sleep that is close to Disneyland then will a shabby room worry you? It comes 46 out of 113 hotels in Anaheim according to Tripadvisor if that's any help.

Sorry I can't be more help to you.

That's ok when I first saw the title I thought it was about Tropicana stadium! :D

I've not stayed there either, but did stay in the Best Western directly (and I do mean directly) across the street from DL and wouldn't recommend it at all. Old, shabby, NOISY, and a little scary.

We stayed at the Tropicana many years ago, but it was in Las Vegas so I doubt whether it is the same place that you are referring to !!!

We stayed at the Ayres Inn on W. Chapman St when we went in March and last July. We used the ART shuttle that picked us up in front on the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.
