Lisa Ann Demacedo, an employee at Universal Orlando Resort has been arrested and fired after police said they discovered she used guests' credit cards to buy thousands of dollars worth of theme park tickets.

Orlando police investigators said they were alerted to the fraud when a Guest at Universal told them he had been charged twice for tickets. According to an arrest report, Demacedo forged the guest's signature and sold the extra ticket to another guest.

Universal Orlando released a statement: "We investigated this situation as soon as it was brought to our attention. We are taking this very seriously and we are cooperating fully with the police. We value the trust our guests place in us and we are working hard to maintain that trust."

Police said Demacedo has been making similar credit card charges for the last three months, using guests' cards to buy a total of 65 tickets, worth about $10,000.

I wonder why it took so long for someone to raise a flag?

$10,000 is a big cookie jar I'm sure sure she wishes she kept her fingers out of.
