    Guilty as charged!

I guess I was on the south side of Davenport. It always felt like forever before I was on property. The first time I stayed in the Formosa Gardens area, it was so quick, it felt like cheating!

It's hard to "break-up" with the hotels. I, mean, it's Disney. I'd like to tell them, it's me, not you, but in reality, it's them.

But those Hotels just suck the money right out of you with their gorgeous shops.

    Pah... hotels, schmotels!

Give me over 2000sq ft of space, separate rooms for the family and a private pool any day! :)

...That's before you even get into the games/movie rooms, parking right outside, laundry facilities etc...

Dip a toe - you'll be doing the back stroke in no time ;)

Having done the villa thing I doubt I'll ever go back to a hotel again. Just one room for the whole vacation and having to share your pool with complete strangers? No thanks.

Weird I know but I LOVE going back with cases full of clean laundry. Hated having to unload cases and then do two/three weeks worth of washing :( I know you can do laundry at Disney but who wants to sit in in a Laundromat on their hols? not me. Bung it in at the villa and go out.

Have you looked into DVC rentals? David's DVC rentals are about $15 a point so with proper planing you can get a studio for close to $200 a night depending on time and resort. I know $200 a night isn't cheap but it's a hell of alot better than some of the $550 a night + 11% tax I've seen

Yea we actually just bought additional at vero beach! 76 points for 4k and annual dues are only a few hundred a year. My parents just went to BLT for 5 nights and 1 trip paid for 3/4 of the purchase price!
