Hey Wendy, we were there for it and it looked pretty awesome. It was neat seeing the guest cheering for the runners. All manner of costumes worn by the runners. Lots of Mickey ears!

There was a lot of Disney magic along he way. Music, CM's in costume and characters too.

There was a display around mile marker 20 of CM's from Haunted Mansion with a small temporary cemetary where runners were seen stopping to chat it up.

Traffic was not all that adversely affected save the day of the half marathon. It ended I believe in Epcot and we chose to go there that day..:surrender: Trying to get a bus there from AKL was long!

It was really cool. I was happy to cheer them along. Must have been the most friendly marathon they have ever run. BTW...I would love to run something like that if not for the experience but for the really cool medals that all wore around the parks! The runners wore their race shirts and medals and they got lots of kudos!
