Walt Disney World to Introduce Braille Menus at Select Restaurants

    Walt Disney World will start introducing braille menus at select locations from the 1st March 2014. This new service will enable Guests with visual disabilities to enhance their enjoyment of food & beverage locations at the Walt Disney World. The menus will be available to Guests upon request.

    Gosh, never really thought about that. Good to know they are responding to the Americans with disabilites act.

    Wendy this got me thinking. I wonder what it would be like experiencing say the Magic Kingdom without sight. I may be wrongly thinking but perhaps the other stimuli in the park would be heightened. There are a bunch of aromas that would catch my interest that is for sure. No pun intended but food for thought.
