Good thing we always fly and use the Disney transportation. That is pretty darn expensive.

kinda crazy. I always thought the point was to get people into the park so they'd buy food/drink and merchandise. Having to pay expensive parking on top of expensive park tickets is really pushing it. At least that's one benefit of having an annual pass I guess

We drive down and almost always stay on site so we never have had to pay for parking however last month we stayed off property and decided to go to MK for the day. The total cost of (4)tickets, parking , snacks, lunch and dinner (at BOG )was over 700 dollars. I would do it again but that is an expensive day at the park.

$17 a day parking is a lot of money if you are there for 21 days! We always buy at least one Annual Pass because it works out cheaper to have that than buy a 21 day park ticket and pay for parking.

Some people love WDW but choose to stay off site because it is cheaper or they want more room. I do think its a shame that the car parking price isn't included in the cost of the ticket, we pay enough for them!

If the parking prices keep increasing I am going to want Disney to provide some entertainment for my car while I'm in the park.

I hear ya. We spent a single day in the park at EPCOT last week. After tickets, food, drinks, and a $10 souvenir, we spent close to $500 for the two of us. A splurge for sure.

To be fair, $100 of that was transportation to/from the park from Port Canaveral. But yes, I agree.

They do the same thing in Virginia with Busch Gardens. Locals buy a daily ticket and you get to come back all year. That being said the only way to get to the park is to use their parking lots which are freakishly expensive! Get you on the front end and the rear end...did I say that?
