    A few more plans...

We booked an option called "Faster to the Fun" which will allow us to board the ship early, ensure our rooms are immediately available, disembark on our final day at our leisure, afford us tender priority, as well as dining priority. Basically....it's a cruise fast pass! LOL.

We've also booked a Chef's Table experience with the head chef aboard ship.

    Things are getting exciting!!!!!

What is tender priority? And goodness! The disembarking at your leisure is priceless!!!

Tenders are the little boats that take you from the ship to the shore. So with this package, we get to priority board for these (which is actually a moot point for this trip since we don't have to tender anywhere during this trip, we dock in each port and will be able to walk off).

The Chef thing sounds very nice.

Tell me again where you are going? Bahamas?

Bahamas - Nassau and Freeport. To be honest, I'm not sure we'll even be leaving the ship in either of those ports - I've not heard great things. But we will be visiting EPCOT for the day (did I mention we're going to EPCOT for the day?)

EPCOT makes it all worthwhile. Without getting too testy, the Disney cruise we were on went to the Bahamas and Herself and I refused to get off the ship. Never have there and can't imagine when I ever would. But you'll have a grand time on board! That's the point of the whole cruise thing anyway!

We actually really love staying on board during port of call days. It's sort of like having the ship to ourselves! And I've not really heard anything about the Bahamas that would send me rushing off the ship. After this week, Monday will be a welcome relief :)

Well have a pint of Guiness or two! Slainte (jee Tink hope I spelled it correctly). That is so awesome. Hey before you go you may wish to join the Anchor and Crown Society. That is the loyalty program for RCL. They have perks for members. You may get invited to a special evening champagne social with the captain.

I see that you may not plan to go to Nassau. I get it. We have been there more than any other island port (about 5 times if I remember). Two of the best excursions there we did were the IACC challenge (if you are like Tom and me, racing an America's Cup boat is a rare treat) and last trip we went to Atlantis. DW Sally wanted to swim (and kiss) a dolphin. They do a pretty good job there with the dolphins and I don't feel that they are mistreated as they have a HUGE natural looking "pen" to swim in.

Oh and one of the best things on the trip (had first one at Cocco Cay) is a Cocco Locco! Too delicious to describe.

Hit the Viking Crown Lounge. Always nice and peaceful there.

We're at the cruise terminal!! Check in was a breeze, and in hindsight sooooooo glad we took the train in as the St. Patrick's parade was starting just as we arrived and traffic was a nightmare! But we're here, we're checked in, and the valet didn't even bat an eye at my suitcase that weighs about 150 pounds ;)

Now then, is this the part where I share with you my deep dark secret? I think I'm more excited about our day in EPCOT than anything else...shhhhhhhhhhhh! We'll just keep that between us, ok?

Holy cow I am slow! I was wondering how you were getting to EPCOT on a cruise originating in NYC! I had all kinds of visions of you going all Somali pirate and forcing it to Ft. Lauderdale!
