last day.....as in the day we leave, we make the most of the day until around 4pm when we go to the airport. A few weeks back we spent it at AK We now try not to get too down about our last day because we know we are going back, so why spoil a good day!

On our last night we have a tradition and that's to go to dinner with special friends and I'm always sad to leave them and end up in tears on the way back to the villa.

The last day we drop our cases off at Virgin check in at DTD and then sometimes go to Epcot in the morning but mainly go back to the villa and relax around the pool. We usually set off for the airport and then sit in the lounge until it's time to board.

We always drive so our last day is checkout and hit the road. The day before we leave we usually make it a MK day. We like ending our vacation with WISHES.

We don't do anything in particular on our last night, but on departure day breakfast is normally at Grand Floridian Cafe with Grand Mimosas for starters. Then we'll take a last ride around on the monorail and head to the Auto Train Station to turn in the car and wait for our ride home.

It`s now become a tradition that we always have dinner at the YSH on our last night so that we can say our goodbyes to Ricardo....normally combined with sorting out his next UK visit which is almost an annual event.
The last day is normally spent at our villa, putting all of our personal items in the lock up closets and my DW gives the place a good clean....even though our cleaners make a visit soon after we have left!

I am feeling ya there Wendy...always kind of hard to go back to "real life". We too try to book a flight out later in the day so that we may enjoy our resort's pool. We don't have any one thing that we must do. The night before we hit the parks to the max as we do every trip. We only spend 3 - 4 days at the parks on our vacations so we take advantage of every minute of Mouse Time.
