I just started watching the Oscars and they played the hooray for hollywood tune (not sure what it's called) well I was instantly transported to the Great Movie Ride- very emotional reaction- i love the bit at the end with all the movies and usually blub all the way through it!

    so what takes you back?

The sounds from Soarin' - every time. Not only does it utterly *transport* me...it can turn my mood around in a flash.

Oh yeah! That's the thing I remember from when we stayed at the Polynesian, it December so cooler and we had the window open and could just hear it... It was calm but you knew that just across the lake ... Sigh!

I am getting a bit of Tapestry of Nations from that weal....color me crazy or hopeful. I think the first sound of the door closing chimes on the monorail at the airport does it and the we,come on the Magic Express

    Tapestry of nations indeed :D

The other sound that makes me yearn for disney is the tune they play on the virgin planes when they do the safety announcement , heard it a few times since and it always takes me right there

Definitely, I can't listen to Wishes without immediately being transported back to the Magic Kingdom.

Soarin' does the same thing, but my 'warm fuzzy feelings' track is probably the Area loop for Epcot.

I am such a hopeless case...that is why I listen to Mouse House Radio on Live 365.... just for all the ambient noises of the parks and rides. Everyone has a laughing place...and that takes me there all the time.
