we'll it does for me. After a couple of those little chewy sweets and a couple of glasses off wine most things work for me. LOL. seriously though, yes they do work. I'm a really nervous flyer and I find that the sweeties do work, it's a bit like being spaced out a bit.
You don't buy the liquid ones? How many do you take and how long before?
thanks piglet!! sometimes the only way to get me to calm down and stop thinking/stressing would be for someone to walk up behind me with a large plank across the noggin chewy sweets would be less painful
What is stressing you out at the moment?
I start taking them a couple of hours before I go, just one and then 1 every couple of hours until the middle of the flight, then 1 as and when I'm feeling nervous

I just have "that kind of job" Jeff I'm responsible for global operations basically and 24/7/365 on call. We're REALLY suffering at the moment trying to recruit good IT/Server people (and I mean we're advertising roles at 40/50k and getting nowhere)... which is putting a lot more pressure on existing people and of course at the end of the day, me :/
So it's just 24/7 stress and I really need to calm it down somehow
