As I sit here typing this I'm kinda excited to be going back in May :) but yet I know once I get there, I'll be all "oh we just have an ADR at 8pm so we'll get there about 7:30"

Some of you folks spend a full day there so what does a day at MK look like? What do you do first thing? then what? what rides ? what restaurants? where do you take a break?

Hopefully catch the opening show
Once inside we usually start off watching the Trolley show and maybe a couple of photos with characters. Then it's usually around to Buzz Lightyear for a FP plus we wait in line as it's not too bad earlier in the day (I know the old FP system no longer exists)
Then maybe over to the Peoplemover followed by Monsters Inc.
A smoothie usually follows for me and a coffee ice cream for DH.

Hopefully it's now about time for Move It Shake It which is always good fun if you are in the castle area where the characters stop. Then there will be a showing of Dream Along With Mickey on the castle forecourt.

Mickey's Philarmagic may be next. A wander through the new Fanatsyland, taking in the street entertainers and a look in the shop. We aren't keen on any rides here but we would stop to share a pork shank at Gastons for lunch.

It's a Small World and then Haunted Mansion. Maybe a trip on the Riverboat.

Time for the 3pm parade and maybe a wander through the Main Street shops and check out Dapper Dans.

We usually go on Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain.

Maybe it's time for dinner at Tony's where DH has his fave onsite meal.

Now we maybe go and dance some calories off at the Dance Party ....although sometimes we just sit and chill while we watch the characters dance with the guests.

Time for the Electrical Parade follwed by Wishes.

Throughout the day we have photos taken with various characters and we love the 'magic shots'. We may also go on a few other rides and catch a few other entertainers.

Now, if it's our Christmas trip then there are extra shows etc to fit into the day too.

Our first and last days are always full MK days. We always start our first day with an 8am breakfast at CP - Pooh's puffed French toast mmmmmmm!

We always used to head to Frontierland first for a visit to the two mountains but because last year was our first visit since the new Fantasyland we went there first. We did the rides there and and all the characters there.

After that we spend the rest of the day working our way around, land by land stopping for the parade and we always have a pit stop in the afternoon in The Hall of Presidents so the male contingency can have a nap - usually snoring very loudly!

Past trips and on subsequent days we would pop out to one of the MK resorts for dinner but last time we had a reservation for BOG so we didn't leave at all.

There is usually time for a look around some of the shops on Main Street or a couple more rides before getting ready for The Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes!
