Have you ever bought yourself something special whilst on holiday at Walt Disney World?

If so, what was it and where did you buy it.

hmm wow what a great question.

I like the animation cells. I have a framed celebration of the magic kingdom opening which Im pleased with.

Some great pins although to be honest, most of my most cherished pins have been kindly sent to me by wonderful members of this site from special events like the halloween and christmas parties etc :)

Then, and you already know this, I have pride of place for a wonderful replica of the haunted mansion along with light up windows etc :-D I absolutely love that and again it's all thanks to a wonderful person for bringing it back from Disney for me!

My 1971 souvenir Mickey ears. I bought them in the Emporium at MK. Took them to DTD to have my name embroidered on the back.

When Dh and I were on our honeymoon we bought a Mickey and Minnie wedding snowglobe! It was crazy expensive and we had to have it shipped to boot because there was no way to carry it on the plane (even pre-9/11), but every single time I look at it I smile, so I guess that makes it worth the money

On our first ever trip we bought a globe with Cinderella Castle in it from the Magic Kingdom and a silk painting from China in World Showcase, we had our surname and the year written on it. We still have them out :)

We also bought and Mickey and Minnie wedding figurine, my Nan gave us some money when we got married and said we were to buy something nice on our honeymoon, so 6 years later we bought them

I have a few Disney things from various places. But my best thing from Walt Disney world is my replica partners statue which I bought from Epcot of all places.

I am still waiting for that altimate 'gift' to myself which I haven't found! Lol

A replica Partners statue would be amazing! And OH MY GOSH the replica Haunted Mansion sounds beautiful! I would love to see pictures!

I don't have a super-special collectible yet, but on this upcoming trip, I really want to buy myself a pearl in Japan and the Cinderella carriage pearl charm. It will definitely be the most expensive Disney thing I've ever bought myself, but I just think it would be such an amazing reminder of what I know will be an amazing trip.

    I like them :D

I've never thought about buying a picture, I've often seen some that I really like, I'd be worried about getting it home in one piece.

I have that first one jeff, I've got quite a few now by Larry Dotson, all have been wrapped up by the store and made it home in checked luggage unscathed. I've ordered frames online where you can get made to measure. Been really pleased with them
