lying on the floor by the look of it and its only 8 am
Ummm let me guess nope I'll let someone else as I know where you were last night
no where that I have ever been......
Hazarding a guess a guess here but I think you're on the computer?
Erm.... I want what he's smoking!
And I want to know what we're winning or I'm not playing.............. sulks.........
I'll agree with this guess except I think it is spelled Sanaa
Yes I changed it lol.
Well well! Finally stumped you all! (except skywatcher who was pretty correct in his on the floor comment )
It was in fact ..... drumroll..... Yachtsman's Steakhouse
We had planned to go to the california grill again but we were really ill after an earlier visit. Very disappointing that since I've always defended it saying how great it was ah well
So we cancelled CG and went to Yachtsman's Steakhouse instead.
We were hoping to see Ricardo but sadly he wasn't working that night. He did however arrange the VIP treatment for us and we were certainly very well looked after!
We were led to a lovely table by the window by "Ricky's request" which was indeed perfectly situated with a wonderful view. Chilled bottle of Evian waiting for us and some delicious bread.
Our server was Zach who was a perfect server. On hand just before we knew we needed him and away when we were engaged in chomping.
We swapped and changed a few items on the menu, usually a bit of an "oh dear" moment but Zach wasn't phased and got everything we wanted.
I got my nuked steak perfectly done. Wonderfully tasty and no hint of blood anywhere (shudder) with a fantastic peppercorn sauce. Indeed when I was getting low on the sauce, another container arrived which was great.
DW had the lamb which was similarly cooked to perfection and wonderfully tasty.
Copious amount of wine were drunk (hic!), various far too hard to guess photos were taken to send here , and finally we ended the night with some coffee thing called "starboard coffee - A nautical delight of Tia Maria, Drambuie, Grand Marnier, Brandy, and Coffee"
I think I'm still recovering from the starboard coffee lets just say there was more than a hint of alcohol in there!
All in all a truly wonderful meal there and my thanks to Ricardo for arranging it for us. I still hope to actually meet the guy one day though!
hmm I have been to YSH. I was too busy smooching Ricardo to look at the ceiling apparently lol
Agreed. I think we'll have to go back to confirm.
Sounds like a plan to me!
Well... at least that explains the "on the floor" picture.
Tom macwave:... I'll have tee martooni's, preeze!)
Sounds like it's called a starboard coffee because you end up like a drunken sailor afterward.
Johnie and Becca, I've never been to YSH so I might have to go there next trip to confirm also!
It's a date Karen
I knew where you were but I also had inside information
Ricky was really sad that he wasn't there, especially when I told him who you were
I have told him that it was your fault though, that it was such short notice
