I never saw the point really in spending £££ on a holiday that costs £££ a minute and then spending time trying to save a few quid on jeans :D

but then thats just me :D

I have only been to the Orlando Premium Mall...mainly to check out the Character Warehouse...Is the Disney store at the Lake Buena vista Factory Stores Mall a better choice? I am looking for adult stuff, polos, hoodies, etc and watches too.. even jackets... Character Warehouse last year Summer 2012 (birthday trip) I got a blue WDW polo, a mickey henley and a wdw windbreaker (no lining but good for rainy days) all for about $30. and is it far since i dont drive, i get a taxi from behind Basin at DTD and it was about $8 to the mall. any ideas? thanks

Not really. The Lake Buena Vista Outlets are truly catch as catch can, regardless of the shop you are visiting. If you have time to spare and want to visit there, then by all means do. You just may end up with a treasure. But don't go expecting to find anything good. That way you won't be disappointed.

Which mall would you recommend? I know it has been discussed before.... we usually go to Florida Mall but is Millennia that expensive? We usually have a budget of $300 each to splash out in the mall. Would we be better off going to the Florida Mall?

It truly depends! Florida mall has a more varied selection of shops, it's not very fancy, it's "just another mall" :) but it has its share of sales and so on.

Millenia is just full of designer names and beautiful shops. That's not to say you can't get bargains there but the default position is the latest merchandise at full rrp but in a lovely setting :)

Then of course at the other end of things, you have outlet malls with last years stuff and bargains.

So it all depends what you fancy on the day :)

We only go to Millenia at Christmas time when there are some really huge sales on big ticket items. Not sure how it is any other time of the year. I will say this, those outlet malls are mostly ripoffs. :( :sorry: They have second merchandise, not just "those that didn't sell," and you can end up paying more for shoddy goods than you would in a "proper mall." I know the luggage places are huge culprits as are most of the name brand clothing places. :( (Same for electronics and camera shops, too).
