It is quite literally beyond belief and the billions they are pumping into these antiquated systems that don't talk to each other is a shocking wast eof tax payers money

heck I'll pay as much as I can afford for the NHS to get decent systems. I may moan  but I'll pay, but argh I'd like them to actually work at the end of it all :(

But they won't thats the simple problem , out in primary care we are light years ahead of the hospitals and our systems look like they came out of the ark. problem is technologies move very fast and the NHS is a slow big behemoth, and like all government contracts - the systems will be developed by the lowest bidder, who unfortunately may not have a clue of the needs of the coalface

I would be interested to see what Win7 is like. Currently running 4 PC's and 1 lappy at home with XP Pro and 1 lappy with Vista. Although i am not a fan of Vista it is growing on me and it is only my DJ'ing unit so i don't use it for other applications.

its taking some getting used to, but there are some nice touches that i like. i did like vista, but this is better, its so fast on my pc

one thing i liked on xp and vista better was the quick launch function where you could have all the icons in the bottom left, not so in this as yet, maybe you can but i cant find out how
