Question for those who've been, is the yachtsmans steakhouse worth 2 credits per person from the dining plan ? I dont mind paying if its worth it but Ive seen reviews saying we could get much better quality off site?

The Yachtsman is one of favorite restaurants in WDW. I have been there 4-5 times and never had a bad meal and the service has always been great. I have only gone there during the free dining so for me it was definitely worth 2 credits.

I`m a bit biased here as we have a very good friend who is a head server at the YSH, however it is certainly the best on site place for a steak and the service is also very good.
As to getting a better deal off site, well this is true for ALL of the WDW restaurants which are very pricy when compared to a similar meal at an off site eatery.

I wonder if your friend will be there when we go for our anniversary, should we ask for a particular server or is that not a done thing?
