The Yak & Yeti’s outdoor counter service has changed it's menu — side order of fries are in and the egg rolls are gone.

Not a huge change I know but it's actually one I like. I don't like rice. DH loves the sweet and sour from here as do I but I never get anything because the only option was for to have it on top of rice. Now I can join him in a cheap and cheerful counter service.

This is the counter/take away service, not the restaurant

:sorry: I guess what's good for one is sad for another

Indeed. I'm glad you'll be able to find something you like but I can get fries anywhere. The egg rolls were unique and pretty good.

What?!?! This is NUTS! Fries are totally boring. I used to like the quick serve Y&Y - kids egg roll w/ pork fried rice!

This was one of the best things they have. Neither of us do sweet and sour and I'm not much for honey chicken. About the only thing I see left on the menu that Donna might eat is the Kung Pao which neither of us is overly fond of.

I guess I don't understand why they couldn't just add French fries to the menu instead of taking something away?

Surely one additional fryer isn't that much of a challenge for WDW?

I think you can get Egg Rolls in the MK at the little kiosk somewhere near POC can't you? Not the same, I know but if you are wishing for an egg roll...

Tink I know exactly what kiosk you are talking about at MK. I swear I don't think I have ever seen it open

I don't understand why they couldn't just add in french fries too.

I agree , adding fries would have been better than taking the egg rolls away completely . I like egg rolls . Who ever heard of fries in Asia except Mc Donalds .
Hi Diane , I didn't realize Yak & Yeti was a two in one place . Table & Quick Service Dining . Thank You
uscwest , what is Kung Pao ?
Can you get egg rolls in China/World Showcase ?

Yes you can get egg rolls in China/WS.

There is a Yak and Yeti ts restaurant. I think it very overpriced for what it is. They DO have good apps though. You can get the honey chicken they serve at the CS.

:nono: why do they have to mess things around :sigh: not everyone wants fries  especially not at the expense of something that was nice.
