No, I don't sorry, I'm guessing they will still be at the outlets though/

As well there are almost 40 authorized retailers. BTW I used zip code 32086 to do the search which is just a general zip code for Orlando. The search was a 20 mile search from that zip code.

The one at Prime Outlets wasn't that great I thought this year. Was disappointed when we went to Florida Mall and it was closed.

Wow. I didn't know they had! I'll bet it's because of falling sales. I've started to see Yankee Candle in off market stores and that's always a dire sign. Any candles in the outlets are going to be seconds or in some other way less than perfect. Altamonte Mall isn't too far to go, but the Waterford Lakes one is very far east. I'd head to Altamonte first. It's "right up I4 [east of Disney, but the compass will say north] and there are lots of other shops and places to eat very near by. It's a right turn at the end of the exit ramp and move quickly to your left, as it will come up fast on 436/Semoran Blvd.

Low sales? At Yankee Candle? Hard to believe as business is booming here.

I wonder if sakes are down as its too heavy to put candles in luggage?

I've seen some in Target recently...

Sales are definitely down here. An acquaintance worked at YC in Milennia and said that's exactly why they were closed. Corporate dialing back as the sales fall nationwide... more fallout from the "recession."

Funny you should say that Tink.
My DW always used to buy some candles to bring home and guess who had to lug them around on the journey home!
Nowadays we buy any Yankee Candles from one of their outlets here in the UK around 2 miles from where we live and they always seem to have loads of different fragrances in stock.

We have one of the flagship stores in Williamsburg. It is HUGE and they sell all sorts if stuff and its always packed. Plus they have these fantastic coupons for $20 off your $45 purchase good on everything except Pandora jewelry.

I spend far too much time and money there lol

Our local garden centre does yankee candle range and it is beautiful at Christmas. However Stephen is banned from handling them as he managed to break a huge jar of Christmas pine scent candle and the entire shop smell like a pine scent toilet bleach. I kid you not!!

 You've reminded me of a time when I bought one the pine scented jars, I was trying to convince Chris that we could have an artificial tree and if we used the jar it would smell like a real one  He walked in and asked if I'd bought a different toilet cleaner because it was a bit strong smelling.

Needless to say, we still have a real tree every year

I've tried that too, Wendy; using an artificial pine scent for Christmas. I've found that bay candles do a better job! I cannot stand the smell of Pine-Sol (that's the predominate pine scented cleaner here). It's overwhelming and nasty. My Grandmother used to use it. Blergh. :(

I like the smell of some artificial scents but truly prefer to use flowers, or even spices. I love candles though. I have a candlestick collection that rivals any spooky house! Well, maybe not that bad. They are overwhelming with tapers in all of them at once though, so I only put the tapers in when we are actually going to use them.

Whew. I can get OFF TOPIC can't I? :sorry:

Thank you for replys all and the list as to where I can get my fix. I can breath again and hubby can remove the smirk from his face ;). On their FB was told due to rental agreements but also read article saying its up for sale.

We visited the Deerfield flagship store, wow I was like a kid in a candy shop . For those flying you can take in your hand luggage as long as not gel. We take wheeled carry on and I can fit rather a lot in there. Well buy two get two free coupons how could I not

The hand luggage is a good idea!

Ick I hate the outdoorsy scents. They seem to set off my allergies as well. I tend to go with fruity scents. Though I do like the white chocolate mint at Christmas. Pink Sands is a current favorite at the moment.

I have a hard time with perfumes of any kind, but can manage some herbal type scents. I particularly like lavender.
