| 20th Annual Gay Days at the Walt Disney World |
It’s that time of year----Get your red on! The 20th annual Gay Days at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando is underway, and will run from June 1 to June 7. Guests at the family friendly park are going all out this year, with more than 140,000 guests expected to visit throughout the week. Members of the LGBT community are encouraged to “Wear Red and Be Seen.” There are more than 40 events planned, ranging from pool parties, comedy events and film festivals. And as always, the center piece of the week will take place at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday afternoon…..the Gay Days Pride Parade. The event started at the Magic Kingdom back in 1991 and is scheduled to take place every first Saturday in June going forward. |
