Pros: The CMs were outstanding!
Cons: Was not able to stay longer than 9 nights

Port Orleans French Quarter is magnificent in its glory! Online check-in had our packet ready. We had arrived many hours later than planned (we missed flight but luggage did not) and found our luggage already in our rooms with a Mickey Mouse towel animal on the bed. At one point my son decided he did not like the boats (stupid stories of alligators) and so concierge helped me rearrange a large portion of our scheduled outings and meals. There were CMs every where that were so friendly and most gave out the beads and coins. The rooms were of decent size (really only slept and showered there) and always clean. My 6-yr-old loved the pool slide! A couple of nights he elected to be at the pool early instead of seeing fireworks. The entire resort is just the right size to go for a walk without getting worn out. All of the buildings are close to the rest of the buildings making it a quaint Disney resort. I went on the riverboat to POR which was a nice serene ride with nice people. A few of the CMs actually remembered our names from our birthday buttons we had worn before. The food court was quick service but hit the hungry spot right on! We made good use of the dining plan and the refillable mugs. Highly recommend this resort! I liked this over the Contemporary!
