• New Year's Day: Jan. 1 every year
• Martin Luther King Day: 3rd Monday in Jan
• Presidents Day (observed): 3rd Monday in Feb
• Memorial Day (observed): Last Monday in May
• Independence Day: July 4 every year
• Labor Day: 1st Monday in Sept
• Columbus Day (observed): 2nd Monday in Oct
• Veterans' Day: Nov. 11 every year
• Thanksgiving Day: 4th Thursday in Nov
• Christmas Day: Dec. 25 every year

Please Note: A Federal Holiday means that banks, government offices, schools and typically the Stock Exchange are all closed. Mail delivery is usually suspended on these days as well. Also, if a Federal holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the entities mentioned above may take the preceding/proceeding day off. (I.E. If the holiday falls on a Saturday; offices may be closed on Friday. If the holiday falls on a Sunday; offices may be closed on Monday.) The term “observed” refers to the day a holiday is celebrated; rather than the true date of the event.
