I am getting tickets for my wife to see Harry Connick Jr. here in February but I am unfamiliar with this theater and the surrounding area. I tried getting tickets at the Artist-Naples but they sold out this morning in minutes. So going to Miami I would like to make it an overnight at a nice hotel. Any ideas?

No idea where that center is, but I've stayed at the Intercontinental at Biscayne Bay (overlooking). It's really nice!

Thanks Tink. I'll check that out. The Arsht Center for the Performing Arts is just about a block north of the Dolphin Expressway (I395) on Biscayne Blvd.

I looked it up, and it's about 1.5 miles from the Intercontinental. However, with traffic in Miami, you may want a hotel closer to the event.

Hey Tink! This thanks is a long time coming! I took your advice and stayed at the Intercontinental and it was great. Beautiful room with an awesome view. We took the shuttle to the concert. It worked out perfectly.
