Disney Village at Disneyland Paris Celebrating Two UK Festivals

    For the first time, Disneyland Paris will be celebrating St David's Day and St Patrick's Day.

    The dates of the events are:

    St David's Welsh Festival – Free Access
    March 7th to 9th, 2014 from 4pm
    Disney Village hosts an event celebrating the legendary St David’s Festival. The Welsh invite guests to come share their renowned good humour, music, arts and crafts for a full weekend of festivities.

    Lively music and a line-up of typical Welsh music promise unique moments of foot-tapping fun.
    Welsh Food & Craft Market

    March 7th, 8th & 9th - from 4pm to 10pm

    The food & craft market offers families a chance to discover all things Welsh. Visitors can feast their eyes and tickle their taste buds at the many stands featuring Welsh specialties presented by the producers themselves.

    Welsh Rock Concerts

    March 7th & 8th at 9:30pm – Billy Bob’s

    Band The Monophonics will take to the stage at Billy Bob’s on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th March from 9.30pm onwards, paying tribute to cult British band Stereophonics.

    St Patrick’s Day – Free Access

    March 16th & 17th, 2014, from 6:30pm

    A genuine musical melting pot for all genres, Disney Village invites Celtic music for a day of celebration, including bagpipes and a traditional Irish dance troupe.

    Irish traditional concerts and entertainment will perpetuate the rhythm of this legendary music.

    Entertainment – From 6:30

    On March 16th, Disney Village will resonate to the sound of bagpipes as the Aubigny Auld Alliance Pipe Band parades through the streets. And on March 17th, dancers from the Sarah Clark Academy will perform some traditional Irish jigs and reels!

    March 17th at 9:30pm & 11pm – Billy Bob’s

    At 9pm the Celtic Sailors will get the party started with some traditional Irish tunes, and then at 10.30pm The Stars from the Commitments will take to the stage to perform some soul classics!
