Are there any airlines that fly out from MCO that are the equivalent of Easyjet... bargain flights.
We usually have a road trip in the summer for about four days in Florida. Just thought it may be nice to visit another area of USA that isn't too far from Orlando.

Suggestions of places to visit would be great. Within a few hours flying time.
We are not beach/sunbathing lovers, we like something to do and love animals.

I don't know about budget airlines but within just a couple of flying hours, New Orleans and Washington D.C. would both be great choices.

Hmm... Both sound appealing. Will look into tourist attractions at both.
    Thanks for the suggestions

There are so many tourist attractions in DC that you could only scratch the tip of the iceberg.

New Orleans is great. They have a pretty neat zoo there that you can get to by boat up the Mississippi. Also the Aquarium of the Americas is cool. Tons of city tours and river cruises are available too.

AND....nearby there is a great national park (Skyline Drive) and scenic highway here in Virginia. So much history (at least by American standards) is here in Virginia. About an hour or two away from DC you have many battlefields, Williamsburg (Colonial city with all kinds of exhibits), great state parks where you can stay in really nice accomodations. I think you would love a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

If anyone gets to DC let us know. We are only a little over 1/2 hour by car.
Depending on traffic of course. :rotfl:

If you only want to fly a couple of hours why not do a road trip stopping at places as you go? By the time you check in, wait at the airport etc you could potentially be half way there
