That's a good idea for sure. We've not been to the west coast vey much, so that would be great

    Sadly not... wish she did!

Before I bought the villa, I always would try to add another stop before I got to Orlando, it was a good way of keeping the trip fresh and still discovering new things.

Eventually, I'll get back to doing that, but you could do an extended version - stopping at loads of places. You could see the Salt Flats, Mount Rushmore, Hoover Dam... loads!

Unfortunately I have never done any of the mentioned but my aunt an uncle travel
The one they enjoyed the most was a greyhound bus from the east coast to the west and then they had 4 days in Hawaii
Not sure if I could be on a bus for so long but they thought it was great they were away for about 3 1/2 weeks xx
    They loved Hawaii

    Hawaii, Hawaii, Hawaii :D

There no option but Hawaii for me, we loved every single part of it and would go back in a heartbeat.

If it was me, then I would go to Oahu and then do a cruise around the islands. Seeing Oahu from the sea is amazing.

Chris is not a beach lover but we did go to the beach for about an hour each day. We hired a car and visited different parts of the island, it is beautiful Keith, it really is. You've seen the video I sent you so you know there is more to Oahu than beaches.

You will get some beautiful photos and the sunsets are to die for :D

We've driven part of Route 66 and it's not as we expected, so I don't think we would rush back

    Now Hawaii, well...............................:D

Go explore the southwest and make sure you see the Grand Canyon. Absolutely phenomenal! We saw a bit of Route 66. Not much left.

I really enjoyed my road trips, you get to see lots of the things you wouldn't normally see going to more touristy places. It was great planning them too. The only bit across that we haven't done is from Vegas to LA

I've actually done that ride, Brit. Was driving from LA area to Central NY. It's pretty boring. Nearly all plain roadway with little to see. At least that's how I remember it. Came up on Las Vegas at night and that was the most exciting part of the drive. Ten miles of neon lights out in the desert.

Ahh see we meandered! Both ways! On the way over to Oklahoma from South Carolina we did North Carolina, Nashville, Memphis and Oklahoma City, then we drove to Dallas. Coming the other way we flew into Vegas and dos the Hoover dam, Grand Canyon, monument valley, four corners, Durango and a few places in New Mexico- Albuquerque and Santa Fe! I've probably left out a few places :)

I drove from Vegas to LA. Stopped at a ghost town somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Calico? Is that right? Awesome little place. When we got to the California border we had to stop and throw our bananas away. Pfft!
