we did Soarin' Around The World at Epcot this past week. Like it way more than Over California.

Where in the World should Disney have soared? Which part of the world did they miss out that you would have liked to have seen?

I think they did a great job on the photos themselves. However, if you are on one of the outer sections of the ride then everything is warped. I'd like to see that fixed.

Have you ever been on it? I find it to be very tame although there is a part when I look away because it makes me a little dizzy.

I didn't do it last time. I went on it before and was bit nervous so decided not to do it. Hopefully will get enough courage to do it next year.

    Disney Embarrassing moment #213213.

So we're on an epcot tour and we get walked onto Sourin with "great" front row seats. I was terrified, I knew I hated it. anyway I got on and I was sat next to a guy who had special needs, couldnt really speak coherently etc.

So we're sitting there, the lights go out, I grab the arm rests and close my eyes..... but I can feel the motion and this is somehow worse, I open my eyes and we're in some kind of dive over a waterfall, I'm crunching the seat arms and thinking omg when will this end.

The guy next to me is basically screaming and I'm thinking YEAH EXACTLY! with yah buddy! and his carer is saying to him it's all fine no probs.....

after a hellish ride, we arrive back and "land", lights turn on, guy next door still incoherently screaming..... and I realise instead of squeezing the armrest like a vice, I've got hold of the poor guys wrist

Eurgh ! apologised, carer looks at me like I'm some kind of creature from hell, and I got out of there.

Soarin and me? we don't get on.

I am a wimp when it comes to the rides as I get real bad motion sickness. However, Soarin' is a ride that doesn't make me ill.
I can't go on BTM or teacups or Seven Dwarfs etc....don't even mention the big coasters!!

I was scared to death to do it when we were in California. My cousin Carol kept reassuring me that it was ok. So I finally rode it. And I was scared every moment - and thrilled! I held on to the handles like my life depended on it. We ended up riding it a second time because I wanted to! So when they brought it to Florida, I was excited and eager to ride it. Then I was disappointed because they used the same film. Why do I want to see the California film while in Florida? Now, that didn't stop me from riding it a couple of times each trip. But I believed that a Florida or East Coast film would have been so much more appropriate.

And I was excited when I found out they were revamping it. I could just see - and feel - a launch from the Kennedy Space Center, a tour through DC, New York and Boston. Swoop in over gators in the Everglades. And was again disappointed when none of that happened.

Yes, I do like the new film - except for the distortion if you sit in the outer seats. The locations are awesome. Just not what I had hoped for. Does that stop me from riding (and hoping we get the top row)? Heavens no! Love it!!!

With the amount of visitors from the UK....I would have thought they could have included us! Maybe we just didn't make the short cut

I agree Donna, I would have thought it would have been Florida or the East Coast. We saw in in California and were surprised that it was the same movie at WDW.

As it is around the world though, I agree with Diane, why wasn't the UK a part of it, I'm sure there are far more people that visit from the UK than people from France  A kick in the teeth really.

I hear great things about it. Most of my friends seem to prefer it to the old one. Looking forward to trying it in Sept.
