Snorkel vests and float boards on boat for increased buoyancy. Due to the time it takes to fit and don your wetsuits, please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time. Up to 15 guests per boat. During summer and fall manatees are most active in the morning. Only one morning tour during these months. Call for times!

Manatees are herbivores (plant eating animals). They replace worn teeth throughout their lifetime. Manatees have fairly good vision and can distinguish between colours. These gentle giants cannot survive in temperatures below 68 degrees (20 Celsius). They spend 6-8 hours a day just feeding where they prefer water to be 3-7 feet deep.
Swim with manatees in the Crystal River, the highest concentration of manatees worldwide. Upwards of 250 visit the Kings Springs each winter. Let these gentle creatures get close to you and they may roll over and allow you to scratch their belly.
