General Tour Information
Reservations are required for most tours. Call 1-407-939-8687 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. (Eastern Time) Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays. A credit card will be needed for the reservation to be accepted. For the majority of tours, park admission is also necessary. Cancellations are required 48 hours in advance of the tour for a full refund.
Many of the tours require a great deal of walking outdoors. If you are a guest with special needs, make an enquiry when you call for compatibility.
It’s a good idea to take along a photo ID for checking in to the tour and some tours may require you to do so.

Travel throughout the Magic Kingdom Park as you weave your way through an enchanting timeline that chronicles the fascinating history of the world’s most famous cartoon mouse. From a doodle on Walt Disney’s notepad to the classic Steamboat Willie cartoon through the magical experience of Mickey’s PhilharMagic. This tour traces the creation and career of Mickey Mouse. Learn all about Mickey’s development and achievements throughout the years. This is a magical adventure all about the mouse that started it all. This fascinating journey spans the creation and illustrious career of Mickey Mouse.
Along the way, your tour guide will point out fascinating details about Mickey and his pal Walt—including many of the clever Hidden Mickeys placed all over Walt Disney World Resort.

DISNEY’S KEYS TO THE KINGDOM TOUR

Large bags and cameras are not permitted on this tour.
Unlock the door to the fascinating history of the Magic Kingdom Park and discover hidden backstage secrets. Enjoy stops backstage and at a variety of favourite attractions as you discover the remarkable history of the park and hear intriguing stories about Walt Disney, his visions, philosophies and amazing accomplishments.
Walt Disney wanted to be sure that the “business” of the park would never intrude on the “show.” So he built approximately 2.4 kilometres of “utilidor” access tunnels beneath the Magic Kingdom Park. This is just one of the fascinating facts that you’ll learn about on this tour….actually venturing downstairs to the main Utilidor entrance, where you’ll see display cases of Magic Kingdom Wardrobe. Guests also visit the Production Center, where they see storage facilities for the floats.
Orders for lunch are taken in the Tour Garden, next to City Hall, upon check-in before the tour begins. Menu choices include a Fried Chicken Strips Basket, Fried Fish and Chicken Combo, Garden Galley Salad, Starboard Deck Sandwich (Toasted bread topped with ham, cheese, tomato, and broccoli slaw), and New England Clam Chowder or Vegetarian Chili.
DISNEY’S BEHIND THE MAGIC OF OUR STEAM TRAINS TOUR

Join the Disney train crew as they prepare the Magic Kingdom steam trains for their daily railroad operation. Venture into the Magic Kingdom Park before it opens, and accompany the railroad engineers as they ready the massive steam trains for another day of service. Walk the backstage roundhouse where the trains are stored and serviced, and ride the rails as you explore how Walt Disney’s lifetime love of steam trains led to their becoming an integral part of the Magic Kingdom Park.
The 3-hour tour starts with a unique opportunity to enter Magic Kingdom theme park before it opens to the public. You’ll accompany the railroad engineers as they ready the massive steam trains for another day of active service. Get the chance to see the backstage roundhouse where the trains are stored and serviced to keep them in impeccable working condition. The Magic Kingdom railroad trains are all meticulously restored antique freight trains. The 4 trains—named Lilly Belle, Roy O. Disney, Roger E. Broggie and Walter E. Disney—were built in the United States around the turn of the 20th century and taken to Mexico. They enjoyed long careers working for the United Railways of Yucatan hauling sugarcane, until they were spotted by Disney scouts in 1969 and brought to Walt Disney World Resort for opening day on October 1, 1971. They have been happily circling the 1.5-mile track around the Theme Park ever since.
