ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Park admission is not included but required. You can book online at buschgardens.com or visit the Adventure Tour Center in the Moroccan Village area of the park. You must be at least 52 inches tall to participate, be able to climb a flight of stairs, follow instructions and lift 15 lbs. Sturdy footwear necessary.
This 90 minute immersive experience allows you to get a sneak peek at what it is like to enrich and train some of the protected species in the park. For a short time you can become one of the animal care staff. Experience what it is like to be a Busch Gardens zookeeper caring for the park’s endangered Asian elephants. You’ll learn more about these elephants by touring the state-of-the-art Pachyderm Palace to comprehend the sheer size of these animals as well as the specialized care they require. Your group will help the zoo team prepare elephant-size treats, and try out some of the less glamorous duties as well! It’s a unique opportunity to learn more about one of the park’s most popular, and definitely largest, animals.
