Light up your summer at Walt Disney World Resort with Summer Nightastic! from June 6 through August 14, 2010. See Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade and experience the new Summer Nightastic! Fireworks Spectacular.
Brighten your night with the return of a guest favourite, the more-dazzling-than-ever Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade in Magic Kingdom Park. You’ll see plenty that’s new—fun-loving Tinker Bell leads the parade, which includes festive new floats inspired by Pinocchio and Snow White.
Tinker Bell now opens the parade by appearing inside a balloon basket above a shimmering bed leaves and flowers. From there, she sprinkles a shower of pixie dust that spreads throughout the rest of the parade, adding a little more sparkle to each float. Other enhancements to the parade include the addition of a Pleasure Island scene for Pinocchio, and a diamond mine for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
DREAM ALONG WITH MICKEY SHOW
Dream-Along With Mickey is a musical stage show for all ages at the Castle Stage in Fantasyland. The show brings together so many of the Disney characters. Performed several times a day, be sure to pick up a park schedule for performance times.
Mickey invites you to join him and celebrate the magic of dreams at this fun-filled, dream-inspired musical show where adventure and “happily ever after” come alive right in front of your eyes. Watch and dance along during this 20-minute, character-filled performance that includes appearances from Cinderella, Snow White, Peter Pan, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and many more. If your little ones love the princesses and pirates, then they will love this show.
But look out! Just as the celebration is getting started, Maleficent from the story of Sleeping Beauty drops in uninvited, and she’s up to no good! Mickey and the gang need your help to stop Maleficent from turning dreams in nightmares, so don’t miss this exciting stage show and help make wishes come true!

CELEBRATE A DREAM COME TRUE PARADE
You’re sure to spot some of your Disney favourites in this dazzling and delightful parade that winds its way between Town Square on Main Street U.S.A. and Frontierland. The upbeat music will have you swaying to the tunes as you enjoy the colorful floats filled with so many popular Disney Characters. Shout for Mickey as he passes, even give him a friendly wave.
You’ll also spot Alice in Wonderland with the Mad Hatter, Snow White with all seven dwarfs, Pinocchio, Pluto and lots more.
Like a snapshot of history come to life, this wonderful parade captures many classic Disney moments that pay tribute to stories and characters that have touched so many lives. Witness Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade to relive the dreams of youth and create new dreams for a new generation.
Guests of all ages will enjoy this procession.
MOVE IT, SHAKE IT, CELEBRATE IT PROCESSION
The magic kicks off as you are invited to join in the fun and Disney Characters, floats resembling giant gift-wrapped packages, stilt-walkers and other performers promenade toward Cinderella Castle. As the party stops in front of the castle, the five “packages” burst open to reveal some of your favorite Disney characters—including Genie, Lumiere, Sebastian and more. The fun is driven by a contemporary musical score that will have you wanting to dance and sing along.
The “Pumping Up the Party” opening number is infectious and encourages guests to fall in behind the final float: “Hey! Get up! Get loud! Start pumping up the party now!”
Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party is performed several times on most days. Check the daily schedule when you arrive at Magic Kingdom theme park.
SPECTROMAGIC PARADE
Featuring a host of characters Spectromagic is a treat for all ages. This shining procession makes its way through Magic Kingdom on select nights. Featuring brightly lit floats and characters….yes, even the characters are lit up! Half a million lights and miles of fiber optics cables light up the night during the “SpectroMagic” Parade.
On this magic night,

WISHES NIGHTTIME SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS
Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is an amazing, high-tech fireworks show—the biggest, brightest fireworks extravaganza in the history of the Magic Kingdom.
Make a wish on a star as the nighttime sky comes to life in a musical fireworks spectacular that is uniquely Disney. Guests of all ages will marvel at the dazzling array of never-before-seen fireworks and pyrotechnic effects created specifically for this amazing show, shown most nights at Magic Kingdom theme park.
Jiminy Cricket hosts this awe-inspiring spectacle as he guides Pinocchio, Cinderella, Ariel, Peter Pan and other beloved Disney Characters through a fantastic story told amongst the stars.
State-of-the-art technology choreographs the magnificent musical score in time with the fireworks explosions for a stunning, aural and visual experience
The show can be viewed throughout the Park, but to see Tinkerbell flying in the sky, you’ll need to get a view from the front of Cinderella Castle.

Wishes is the largest fireworks show ever presented at the Magic Kingdom.
The show begins with the Blue Fairy’s narration: “When stars are born, they possess a gift or two. One of them is this: they have the power to make a wish come true.” This transitions into the theme song of the show, which is the poem “Starlight, Starbright” set to music. Jiminy Cricket begins his narration about how he didn’t used to believe in wishes, but is about to share the things that changed his mind. The show continues with a medley of famous Disney music overlaid with Disney characters making wishes. Snow White, Cinderella, Pinocchio, Aladdin, Peter Pan and Ariel are featured, among others. Several primarily instrumental sections follow, representing wishes for adventure, wishes for love and ‘magical’ wishes. Wishes then takes a turn for the slightly-sinister when the Disney villains, led by the Evil Queen from Snow White, take over the show. However, in the end, Good triumphs over Evil, and the Blue Fairy returns to host the finale, stating that “we must always believe in our wishes, for they are the magic in the world.” The show ends with a mix of the Wishes theme and “When You Wish Upon a Star” from Pinocchio.

FRONTIERLAND HOEDOWN
The action begins without notice. A lone operator from Big Thunder Mountain walks into the street and starts waving a hat. He’s soon joined by other residents of Frontierland, including the Country Bears and other friends.
