GUEST SERVICES
FIRST AID
At Islands of Adventure, First Aid is located inside the Guest Services Lobby, just to the right of the main entrance turnstiles. The main Health Services station is in Sindbad’s Village within The Lost Continent. Look for the Red Cross across from Oasis Coolers.
CHILD/BABY SWAP AREAS
These areas are available at each attraction, at each park, to allow parents to take turns watching their child while the other rides. For further information or instructions, please ask a ride attendant upon arrival to the theme park.
RESTROOMS
Restroom facilities are located throughout the theme park. All restrooms have wheelchair-accessible facilities and offer diaper-changing areas in both the men’s and women’s restrooms in the theme parks. At Islands of Adventure, a companion restroom is available at both First Aid locations.
NURSING FACILITIES
Nursing facilities and a companion restroom are available at Family Services, located at First Aid in Islands of Adventure. Diaper-changing facilities are available at all restrooms.
TELEPHONES
Telephones are conveniently located throughout the theme parks near the restrooms and next to the main entrance and exit turnstiles.
For guests who are deaf or hard of hearing, Telecommunication Devices for the Deaf (TDDs) are located at the Guest Services Office and Health Services. Pay telephones with amplification devices are located throughout the park.
KENNELS
Guests can board their pets for the day (no overnight boarding) at the Studio Kennel. Located in the parking structure, boarding costs $10.00 per pet per day and will close 2 hours after the last park closes. There is a phone outside the kennel to contact security to assist in picking up a pet after the kennel has closed.
Guests must provide food and return periodically to walk their pet(s). Upon arrival to the parking garage, ask the toll-plaza attendant for directions to the Studio Kennel.
POSTAL SERVICES
Guests may purchase U.S. postage stamps from a stamp machine and deposit mail for the U.S. Postal Service. At Islands of Adventure a stamp machine can be found in the Island’s of Adventure Trading Company gift shop.
ATM’s
Universal Orlando has eight automated teller machines (ATMs) located throughout the property. Please see the listing below for their locations, or, once inside the resort, please check with any team member for the one most convenient to you.
The locations for islands of Adventure are as follows:
1) Islands of Adventure at the park entrance to the right of the Guest Services window.
2) Islands of Adventure near The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.
FOREIGN CURRENCY EXCHANGE
Foreign currency exchanges can be made at the Guest Services window of the park. These windows are located near to the entrance of the park. If you need further assistance, upon arrival, please use a park map to find their locations.
POLICIES AND RESTRICTIONS
SMOKING POLICY
In accordance with Florida Amendment 6, all restaurants and bars that serve food are smoke free areas. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
There are currently 12 smoking areas at Universal Studios for guest’s convenience. All other areas outside of these designated smoking areas are smoke free.
SECURITY & RESTRICTIONS
Please note the following restrictions:
All bags, backpacks or packages will be inspected prior to entering the theme parks. Leave unnecessary articles in your car and secure valuables in your trunk.
The following are additional items that are not permitted: any type of weapon, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, large duffle bags, folding chairs, and large umbrellas.
Please note the following guidelines for bringing food and drink into our parks:
Acceptable items:
Bottled water
Small snacks that do not require heating
Any food required for medical purposes and medically–indicated nutritional supplements
Any food required for special dietary needs
Baby food/baby formula
Soft-sided insulated bags no larger than 8.5” wide x 6” high x 6” deep
Prohibited items:
Picnic lunches
Food that requires heating or refrigeration
Alcohol and glass containers
Hard-sided coolers
Soft-sided coolers larger than 8.5” wide x 6” high x 6” deep
Coolers, suitcases, and bags with wheels
Please be advised that all bags and personal items are subject to inspection.
