Disney still has some way to go towards being perfectly responsive to the needs of the Diabetic however there are things you can do to help them help you
Firstly, make sure they note on any ADRs that you are a diabetic. At some places, this will get you an automatic visit from the chef to discuss any special options they may have on the menu.
Some places have special sugar free desserts although they’re not always listed on the menu, so it’s a case of asking
You’ll already know this, but test your blood glucose levels often. Although Disney make every effort to be transparent about whats in the food, the combination of irregular meal times, running around the parks, excitement can prove problematic and you may find it harder to maintain a level, especially in younger children.
